How to have a thriving relationship
Love is a wonderful thing! When you are a new couple everything is fresh and beautiful but over time things settle down. The truth is that relationships take work to be successful.
Here are some tips for your relationship to continue to thrive:
Have love and compassion for YOURSELF
It is imperative to have love and respect for yourself. Take time for yourself. Care for your body, your mind, your well-being!
Be present with your partner and others
When you spend time with your partner, spend real time with them. Enjoy conversation, touch and eye contact. By taking out the distractions and paying attention to your loved ones, you show how important they are to you.
Change your words
Do you tend to use negative words about you and others? Do you call yourself fat, stupid, ugly? Whether you are joking or not, using words like these affect you and those around you so be kind.
Don't always need to be right
If you are always right you are always fighting to prove that. Some fights are not worth it and by needing to be right you alienate your loved ones.
Eat right
I know this does not seem to be related to your relationship however if you do not feel healthy it reflects on your mind. When you feel bad about yourself, it causes difficulties in your relationships. You close up and sometimes give up!
Exercise regularly
Along with eating well exercising makes the body and mind fit. When you take care of yourself you feel sexier and your energy is up...if you know what I mean!
Tap into your spiritual beliefs
Whether you are highly religious or just believe in a higher power, it is important to be one with your beliefs. By meditating, praying or any other form peaceful reflection allows you to balance and quiet your mind.
Switch it up in the bedroom
You can strengthen your bond with adventures in your sex life. You put your trust in your lover and keep it interesting. Try different positions, times of day and locations. The thrill will keep the spark alive!
